Venezuela "Bolivarian Revolution" dazzles at Expo 2010 Shanghai

Three thousand square meters and several levels that can accommodate thousands of visitors daily, was inaugurated on Sunday May 2, the flag of Venezuela in the "Expo Shanghai 2010." The exposition which brings together more than 190 countries all over the world is inspired by the motto "Better City, Better Life."

The Venezuelan delegation, headed by Minister of People's Power for Tourism, Alexander Fleming, integration, Deputy Minister for Asia, Middle East and Oceania and Commissioner for Venezuela, Temir Porras, Ambassador of Venezuela to China, Rocío Maneiro and Consul General in Shanghai, Jean Carlos Ravel.

The Venezuelan proposal is notable for its humanistic approach and offers visitors an objective view of social transformations that have occurred in the South American country during the 11 years of Bolivarian Revolution.

"The Venezuelan flag was opened to show the world how the Bolivarian Revolution led by Commander Hugo Chávez has provided more and better quality of life for Venezuelans, thanks to the policies of social inclusion and popular participation," said Minister Fleming .

According to the Minister of Tourism "the government of President Hugo Chávez has focused its efforts on meeting the needs of historically excluded people. Now, we (Venezuelans) to say that we are true citizens."

The Bolivarian Revolution has assured Venezuelans access to basic services not only in cities but across the country, so "our motto is much broader: Best Country, Best Life, and in Venezuela the people, hand with the Government of Commander Chavez, builds the Socialist Homeland "noted Fleming.
