As part of the cultural and recreational agenda undertaken by the organizing committee of the International Tourism Fair of Venezuela, Fitven 2010, a group of 36 international journalists from five continents enjoyed a tour of city dwellers (city tour) in which appreciated the rescue of cultural spaces that advances the Bolivarian government in favor of healthy social recreation and tourism community.

Historical and tourist areas such as Plaza O'Leary, Café Venezuela, Bolivar Square, the National Assembly, the Obelisk of the Plaza Francia in Altamira, la Cuadra de Bolívar, the Cable Car System Warairarepano, and Plaza Venezuela were among the places visited by the international press.

During the tour, journalists were able to meet the capital's emblematic monuments and interact with ordinary Venezuelans, knowing the cultural exchange, the adjective of a nation characterized by its gentleness and extends its arms to visitors.

Alejandro Martinez Notte, of Teleaire Argentina, said: "I am fully pleased with the attention of the fair organizing committee, especially with the committee's press Fitven has organized activities in which we can do quality reporting."

"A part of the Press Trip organized by Mintur, where we visited the National Park and Kerekupai Mochima Vein in Canaima, today we have known in detail tourist attractions, historical, cultural and architectural Caracas."

Meanwhile, Federico Ruiz, Web Portal Express Spain, stressed the importance of this type of parallel activities to the markets, because it maximizes the promotion of tourism. (Press Mintur / Igor Fernández)
