Venezuela, SA is a company Venevent attached to Mintur

By Decree No. 7125, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez, authorized the creation of the company "Venezolana de Eventos" (Venevent, SA), which will be responsible for the promotion and enhancement of national events and as a strategic factor in international socio-economic diversification and development of the country, in order to achieve greater political effectiveness and strengthening their commitment to the rule in the construction of Socialism.

The creation was published in Official Gazette of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela No. 39,328, dated 15 December 2009, in the form of limited company called "Venezolana de Eventos" (Venevent) SA, under the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism.

Venezuelan social events must target the development of activities of organization, promotion and implementation of conventions, congresses, symposia, conferences, national and international meetings, fairs, exhibitions and other related events as a source of momentum tourist, cultural and artistic to the sustainable development and sustainable country, and the provision of all services associated with the production of events such as pallets, sound, tables, chairs, decor, food, among others.

The company is headed by a Shareholders Meeting to be managed by a Board consisting of one President and four senior members, their alternates, who shall be appointed by Pedro Morejon, Minister of Popular Power for Tourism (Mintur) .

In the legal requirements of incorporation of the company, it is faithful performance tracking and policy guidelines issued by the National Executive, through the Central Planning Commission and its organ of attachment, Mintur.

The Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism will carry out the relevant procedures for the preparation and notarization of the Constitutive Act of the Venezuelan Company Events, with the Commercial Register for your home and ensure your total constitution. (Press Mintur / Heilinghs Ferreira)
