Supporting Sustainable Travel:

enhance their knowledge to promote tourism projects

To promote and strengthen domestic tourism, the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism (Mintur) through Inatur, under the "Special Plan Café", gave a workshop titled "Tools for project consultancy tourism investment.

The program was attended by representatives of the Tourism Fund of Aragua, Anzoategui, Barinas, Carabobo, Falcón, Lara, Merida, Miranda, Monagas, Portuguesa, Sucre, Tachira, Trujillo, Yaracuy, Vargas and Zulia.


The aim of the meeting was devoted to the unification of criteria to diagnose and strengthen areas' tourism potential of coffee, cocoa and rum, as well as grant, in the near future, funding for producers of these items, under the ordinances of the New Credit Law for the Tourism sector.


During the workshop provided tools and lines of action to make new agri-tourist trails.

It is worth remembering that this project has several years running by the Government through various ministries Mintur joined this year to this plan and also has been working in sync to create mechanisms to cooperate in the strengthening and consolidation of the tourism, managing sustainability criteria, sustainability, equity and social justice.
