National Tourism Plan encourages mass participation of people's power

In interview on "Dando y Dando", broadcast by Venezolana de Television, Vice Minister of Construction Projects and Tourist Mintur, Luis Arriaga, noted that through the public consultation of the National Tourism Strategic Plan strengthens the "participation mass of people power. "


Arriaga said that because of the guidelines considered for consultation, has managed to integrate the various tourism sectors contribute ideas and feedback for the proper functioning of this. "More than 5 thousand people, including ordinary citizens, service providers, organized communities and public and private institutions have made their contribution."

The Deputy Minister indicated that the Master Plan develops integration programs to improve the quality of life of Venezuelans. "Instruments such as the Appropriations Act for the Tourism Sector enshrine social inclusion through training programs and support human resource.

"The cornerstone has been the training, thus we have achieved a growth in tourism services such as transport, accommodation, tour guides, restaurants and other" he said.

"This strategic plan aims to strengthen the sector through the recuperation of heritage tourism, historical, social and cultural development of training programs and training," he added.

He reported that so far this year have delivered more than 600 credits to community councils to encourage plans to strengthen the sector. He said the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism has provided accompaniment for the development of tourism projects.
