Supporting Sustainable Travel:

will launch hotel-school in Nueva Esparta

The Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism (Mintur) will launch next January, a hotel-school in the state of Nueva Esparta in order to strengthen training in the various sectors of tourism.

The Joint neoespartano Fund President William Fariñas said that although the formal opening of the hotel-school will take place in January, the facilities for this training center since its doors opened for the performance of craft and cultural activities.

For all this he said, has enjoyed the support of the community in general and community councils operating in the vicinity of the hotel.

Farinas noted that this infrastructure was recovered by Mintur, after authorities determined that the site was used for sex tourism.

"We will rescue this hotel now with community tourism. Is tourism to the community," he said.

He said the training will be conducted in the hotel-school with the support of the Institute of Socialist Education and Training (Inces) and the National Experimental University of the Bolivarian National Armed Force (UNEF).

In the training areas will be addressed in a special way of teaching languages such as English, French, German and Portuguese, as are considered necessary for dealing with international tourists. (ABN)
